Bolton hosts BAPO 2007

The central location of Bolton plays host to the BAPO conference 2007 at the De Vere Whites Hotel. Fully integrated into the Reebok Stadium the venue offers the ideal setting for the event.

New format for BAPO conference
In 2007, the BAPO conference structure is changing. As a response to BAPO membership feedback, there will be a series of workshops, seminars and discussion groups running alongside the traditional invited speakers and free papers offering real choice and flexibility within the programme. Also new this year is a poster competition, exhibitor 'most innovative stand' competition, delegate 'visit the stands' competition and awards for members of the prosthetic and orthotic community.

Call for posters
In addition to the clinical programme, BAPO will be running a poster competition. This will continue the clinical theme of the conference and is the opportunity to share research, case studies and new techniques with colleagues without the stress of having to stand up and speak to a large audience.

Submissions will be divided into three groups: Prosthetists/Orthotists; Technicians/Assistants and Students. The best poster in each group will be awarded £100 with a bottle of champagne awarded to the runners up in each category. Deadline for submissions of summary 31st January, 2007.
