Experienced Orthotic Technician
Kettering, UK.

We are actively expanding our group activity within this demanding business area and immediately require suitably qualified / experienced technicians to fabricate a range of orthoses based at our manufacturing site in Kettering.

The skilled work involves accurately interpreting patient prescriptions received from orthotists, preparation of plaster casts and moulds, cast rectification, moulding of thermo formable plastics, and the manipulation of foam and carbon fibre materials to finishing stage.

The role(s) requires first class ‘hand to eye co-ordination skills’, excellent communication together with an aptitude for detail and a passion for excellence.

The suitable candidate(s) may come from a range of industries, but must be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in hands on manufacture, requiring detailed work, and the ability to demonstrate safe of use hand/power tools.
