ORTHOTIC TECHNICIAN

BAND 3 £15,190 - £18,157 PER ANNUM

FULL-TIME 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

King’s Mill Hospital is undergoing a £320million modernisation project and we have already opened a new ‘state of the art’ Orthotic manufacturing suite to support our expanding ‘in house’ Orthotic service.

We are looking to recruit an additional member to the team who is self motivated, enthusiastic and possesses good hand dexterity skills.

The post requires the individual to produce goods to specification from a pattern therefore previous experience in the manufacturing industry working with materials would be an advantage. Sewing machine skills would also be beneficial.

Although applicants with previous experience in Orthotics would be preferred, we would encourage anyone with a genuine interest to develop themselves to apply, as full training would be provided.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate good team working and communication. The ability to produce quality goods to a high standard is essential.
