We are now reciting for this role at Leeds Unit 7.  This role will report directly to the Shift Manager.  The role of the Orthotics Team leader is to provide and develop statistical analysis of KPI, delivery performance improvement and quality, right first time , philosophies as well as “best people practices”.  Day to day reporting on throughput and assisting in implementing W.C.M techniques as well as day to day running of the department.

Description:

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the TSE is primarily responsible for promoting Algeos range of O&P products across the U.K and Eire. This role provides an opportunity for the suitable applicant to build close relationships and generate revenue within an assigned account base. A particular focus will be on Prosthetic manufacturing techniques and technical support for customers. The TSE will be responsible for managing and supporting the accounts on a day-to-day basis, and working closely with the Division Manager. This role requires a motivated individual who is an excellent communicator, I.T literate and has a passion for O&P profession. The role will be demanding and requires flexibility and adaptability combined with a desire to succeed.

   

Key skills required:

  • Knowledge and experience of Orthotic and Prosthetic manufacturing, 2 years minimum experience requirement
  • To be confident at presenting and demonstrating key skills used in manufacturing
  • To be responsible for achieving sales targets
  • Good negotiation, relationship building and sales skills
  • Well organised and good time management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client facing skills

Job Information

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is a major international teaching centre of excellence for neuro-musculoskeletal healthcare. The Orthotics Department at the RNOH in Stanmore is one of the largest centers in Europe dealing with scoliosis, and upper and lower limb dysfunction. 

 

We are currently looking to employ an experienced senior orthotics technician in our plastics workshop, skilled in the repair, overhaul and complete fabrication of Orthotics devices.  The successful candidate must have completed orthotics manufacturing training and have experience working in an orthotics production workshop particularly in the plastic fabrication of spinal braces and lower limb orthosis.

 

This busy department requires staff to be hard working team players who are eager to learn new skills and have a flexible approach to working in a large department.

I am looking for an Orthotic Technician for Cleveland, Ohio.
We need someone that specializes in lower extremity orthotics.

This person needs to have strong hand skills including:

Experience with leather molding, patterns, cutting and sewing.
Fabrication of foot and ankle orthotics and shoe modifications.
Sewing straps, metal bending, alignment, layouts and inserts.
Constructing orthotic braces using specific measurements.
CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
